People pray for Longevity of Virbhadra Singh on his birthday

The people from all walks of life made a bee-line to Holly Lodge to wish long and healthy life to Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on his 81st birthday today.The Chief Minister along-with his wife and former Member of Parliament, Pratibha Singh and his son Vikramaditya Singh, State Youth Congress President and other family members cut the cake amidst cheers and wishes pouring in for the longevity of Chief Minister.The Chief Minister and his wife thanked all the people who had assembled in numbers at their residence Holly Lodge.Born in 1934, Shri Virbhadra Singh has a long cherished socio-political carrier. He entered politics in the Year 1962 when he became Member of Parliament and since then there is no looking back for him. He is the only Chief Minister in the country who became Chief Minister for record six times.

Later, the Chief Minister inaugurated the blood donation camp organized by Bushahr Students Welfare Organization at the Ridge on the occasion of birth anniversary of Shri Virbhadra Singh. He was welcomed by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Shri Nand Lal and Chairman of the Organization Shri Pawan Singh.The Organization honoured the Chief Minister and State Youth Congress President Shri Vikramaditya Singh by presenting them Himachali Cap. The Student association also presented a sword to the Chief Minister.The Chief Minister also inaugurated the blood donation camp at Rajiv Bhawan organized by the Computer Teachers Association (INTUC).Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister exhorted the people to come forward and donate blood voluntarily as it could save many precious lives. 

Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mansa Ram, Chairman, H.P Buildings and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Baba Hardeep Singh and State Youth Congress President Shri Vikramaditya Singh were also present on the occasion.The Association also honored the Chief Minister by presenting him Shawl and Himachali cap.Chief Parliamentary Secretary Shri Mansa Ram, Working President of Computer Teachers Association Shri Roshan Mehta welcomed the Chief Minister.
