SS Rajamouli's movie RRR has been breaking box office records. The epic-action film remains in first place at the Japanese box office. RRR has once more caused havoc, this time by surpassing the mark set by the blockbuster "Muthu," which starred Rajnikanth twenty-four years ago. Particularly throughout the length of his international business, the Annaatthe actor is well-known for his fandom among Japanese spectators. The Ram Charan-Jr NTR movie broke Muthu's 24-year-old box office record in Japan, marking a new milestone. Numerous Hollywood directors, including James Gunn and the Russo Brothers, have praised the film.

In 44 places throughout Japan, 209 screens, including 31 Imax screens, showed the film RRR. According to a report from HT, the Rajamouli-directed film has now surpassed 400 million Japanese Yen (about Rs. 24 crores). On October 21, 2022, the chronological action film was made available in Japan. Twenty-four years ago, Rajnikanth's Muthu was released in the nation and has remained unstoppable for more than 20 years. During the Japan release, Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and NTR made significant improvements. The movie has made approximately RS 1100 crore worldwide.

RRR draws inspiration from the lives of two independence warriors who rose against the British, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem (played by Ram Charan and Tarak, respectively). Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt both make lengthy cameo appearances in the movie. The movie garnered a tremendous response from the audience when it was screened in October at TCL Chinese Theatre. The 932 seats at the theatre were sold out in 20 minutes, according to a Deadline story. The movie made $21,000 from the single showing, bringing its total box office revenue since its re-release to $221,156.
