Bhupinder Singh Hooda scoffs at rumours of being replaced as CM

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda Saturday described as "rumours" alleged moves to replace him.Asked to comment on speculations of a change in the leadership in the state by the Congress high command, Hooda denied any such possibility. "There is no such move. These are all rumours.""All sections of the society are satisfied with the functioning of the present state government. With the support and cooperation of the people, the Congress would get overwhelming mandate in the ensuing vidhan sabha elections and would form the government for the third consecutive term," he said. Hooda first became chief minister in March 2005 and was re-elected in October 2009.Assembly elections for Haryana's 90 seats are likely to be held in October this year.Denying differences within the Congress party leadership, Hooda said the Congress was a constitutional party.He said there is lot of demand for Congress party tickets for the assembly election.
