Kartik Aaryan, the hero of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and the forthcoming Bollywood series Hera Pheri 3, is making headlines due to his casting. Kartik Aaryan joined the cast of the eagerly predicted Bollywood film Hera Pheri 3 when Akshay Kumar withdrew. As a result of many news reports claiming he had taken Akshay Kumar's place in the movie, he also gained notoriety.

Suniel Shetty later clarified, however, that Kartik Aaryan had joined the ensemble of Hera Pheri 2 but had not taken Akshay Kumar's position. Kartik will have a new role in the movie.

Kartik Aaryan has since also made comments about the matter. Kartik Aaryan was asked by Indian Express how it felt when Paresh Rawal revealed his casting for Hera Pheri 3. The actor responded, "I am still amazed!
