DC Anantnag convenes Preparatory meeting of 'My Town My Pride'

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom today convened a preparatory meeting with all the sectoral officers and other stakeholders for smooth and successful conduct of My Town My Pride in District Anantnag. 

Speaking on the occasion, the DC laid stress on the conduct of sanitation drives, disbursement of sanctioned cases and timely disposal of pending cases sanctioned under different centrally sponsored schemes.To carry out the programme sucessfully, he said that ULBs and other stakeholders must coordinate with each other. 

The District Officers were directed to ensure the presence of their representatives in each ward where the camps will be organised. CSCs were directed to complete the process of registration of beneficiaries in various welfare schemes. 

Presidents of MCs assured the chair of full cooperation and ensure successful conduct of  key activities besides providing the visiting officers and locals the logistic support. The meeting was attended by Presidents of  MCs, ADCs, SE Jal Shakti, CEO, CPO, CMO, CAO, CHO, bank representatives, representatives of other departments, EOs etc. It is in place to mention here that the programme is scheduled to be held from 28th of November.
