Awareness programme on Financial, Cyber Frauds organised at ITI Kishtwar

DC advises students to focus on studies, minimize screen time & aware acquaintances about Cyber Frauds

To educate the students and other participants about increasing incidences of cyber-frauds and online financial crimes, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in collaboration with Lead Bank Office today organised Nationwide Intensive Awareness programme at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Kishtwar.

Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav was the Chief Guest. RBI Ombudsman, RM, SBI Jammu, LDM Kishtwar, DDM NABARD, RSETI Director, ALC, Representatives of JK Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI,  students and other participants attended the programme.

Addressing the participants, the DC motivated the students to take interest in their studies instead of wasting time on mobile phones. He asked them to educate their near and dear ones about Cyber Frauds.RBI OMBUDSMAN, Ramesh Chand, educated the students about the preventive measures to be taken against online financial fraud or Cyber Frauds. 

He also informed the participants about the 1930 Helpline for seeking help in case of falling prey to cyber Frauds.RM, State Bank of India, Sushil Hans educated the participants about the grievances redressal mechanism of SBI.

Speaking on the occasion, the LDM Kishtwar,  Pankaj Bhadani educated the students about financial and Cyber Frauds through Power Point Presentation.All the aspects of cybercrime were covered in the PPT as well as preventive measures were also discussed thoroughly.

An interactive and quiz session was also held in the end during which the experts responded to the quarries of the participants. The students who participated in the quiz were also felicitated by RBI.
