Arrangements finalized for one day Export Awareness workshop in Rajouri

To finalize the plans for a one-day export awareness workshop, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today convened a meeting of stakeholder departments . Chief Planning Officer, Mohd Khurshid; the Chief Agriculture Officer, Sohan Singh;  Chief Horticulture Officer  Madan Lal Tak; Project Manager  DIC, Abid Hussain;  Planning Officer Mohd Rafi and other officers from the concerned departments were present in the meeting.

The meeting was informed that the workshop is being organized in conjunction with APEDA, ECGC, FIEO, and SBI, and that its primary goals are to disseminate information about various export-related government schemes, increase awareness of the financial assistance programs offered to exporters, increase awareness of information, compilation, and documentation, and raise awareness about insurance options for exporters.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the District Administration was actively working with the Government and other export institutions to increase exports and establish District Rajouri as a center of exports for its potential products.“Rajouri district has great potential for soft business, which includes everything from chkiri wood crafts to well-cultivated fruits and vegetables. 

The district is likewise designated by ODOP as a milk and milk product district,” he added.He emphasized that this is the ideal chance for company owners to familiarise themselves with the types of paperwork and processes required to start the international business/IEC registration process and other associated concerns. 

By outlining several governments of India export-related programs, this session will give participants the essential direction to update their expertise.The Deputy Commissioner directed all the officers to ensure the participation of progressive farmers, horticulturists, industrialists, artisans’ entrepreneurs, and businesses from the district.The Deputy Commissioner also asked the officers about the installation stalls depicting the schemes and locals’ products.
