ED Probe For The Movie ‘Liger’

Liger emerged as a flop movie for the south superstar Vijay Deverakonda. This movie was the debut of the Tollywood actor in Bollywood. This movie is a nightmare for the actor-producer and director also. The actor in this movie was the biggest flop ever in his life till now. Whoever was involved in the project of liger is facing trouble. And the trouble is still going on. 

The latest buzz is that the Enforcement Directorate which investigates economic offences has focused on the liger team. Director Puri Jagannath and producer Charmee have been under interrogation since this morning.  ED is probing the allegation that is made by the politicians that they have invested in the project financially. ED sent notice to Puri Jagannath fifteen days ago for interrogation. Though nothing noteworthy has appeared, this might take another few months to know the clear picture.

Everyone knows Liger's big failure was that this movie was not even able to collect 30% of the business. Moreover, the distributors also asked for compensation for this movie's loss. And now amidst the new problem that has erupted for the Puri Jagannath. We hope he gets to concentrate on work and regain his lost form. Since the movie was announced in the combination of Puri Jagannath and Vijay Devrakonda, the buzz has been rated in the audience of the movie viewed. 

The director and producer were reportedly questioned by ED investigators over the claims that foreign investors contributed crores of rupees to the film's production, purportedly in violation of FEMA.

The investigative agency believes that a number of businesses moved money to the filmmakers' accounts. They were questioned about who had sent the money, how it was distributed to international actors like Mike Tyson and the technical crew, and who those people were.

Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur are appearing before the ED for the second time. The agency questioned them and other movie stars last year in regard to claims of money in the alleged celebrity drug case.
