Chetan Singh Jouramajra graces 2nd day of MRS-PTU, Bathinda’s Youth Fest at Aryans Colleges

Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab Chetan Singh Jouramajra graced 2nd day of 7th Inter-Zonal youth fest of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda at Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura on this year's theme “Lehraunda Punjab”. 

S.Gurlal Singh, MLA, Ghanaur was Guest of Honour and Prof. Dr. Buta Singh Sidhu, Vice Chancellor, MRSPTU, Bathinda was Chief Patron. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, SDM, Rajpura was  special guest. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event.

Chetan Singh Jouramajra congratulated all the students of participating Colleges in the youth fest & praised the efforts made by Aryans in organizing the youth fest also. He said that he has visited Aryans campus today for the 2nd time & Group is doing a wonderful job in the field of academics as well as in cultural activities. 

We are committed to free the state from the drug menace as “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future” & it is a matter of great satisfaction to see our youth participating in academics as well as extracurricular activities, he added.

Gurlal Singh said that  youth festivals play a major role in grooming the youth and in the cultural development of the country. He added that youth festivals aim to propagate the concept of national integration, spirit of communal harmony, brotherhood, courage and adventure amongst the youth by exhibiting their cultural prowess at a common platform. 

Dr. Buta Singh said that Aryans Group of Colleges is the pride of the region & since the last 15 years the group is really working hard under the leadership of Dr. Kataria. Since 2015 MRSPTU has organized 6 Inter-zonal fest in a row & this year in 7th fest, around 600 students are going to perform in more than 38 events under 5 different categories. He conveyed his best wishes to all participants.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar appreciated  all the performances by various students & congratulated Aryans Group for hosting the fest. He said  it's remarkable that the group is doing well in providing education without any tuition fee for needy & deserving students. He appraised the efforts made by Aryans in the past also for emphasizing on Entertainment along with Education.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while thanking said that Aryans Group is really privileged that on 2nd day, Health Minister graced the youth fest. He also thanked MRS-PTU for allotting Youth fest to Aryans. Youth should be involved more in co-curricular activities so that they can be involved in the mainstream of the society and can help in bringing revolutionary change in the society, he added.

Second Day of youth festival observed various Cultural and Non Cultural activities including Mimicry, Mime, Skit, One Act Play, Bhangra, Indian Group Dance, Classical Ins.(Pur.), Classical Ins.(Non Pur.), Classical Vocal, Light Indian Vocal Solo, Folk Song, Elocution, Debate, Poem, Recitation, Rangoli, Poster Making, Photography, Mehandi etc Thousands of students of around 20 Colleges from various districts including  Aryans College of Pharmacy, Rajpura.
