Kantara Surpassed The Collection Of Pushpa & KGF: Chapter 1, Know It’s Box Office Collection

‘Kantara’ is setting new records day by day and now it has crossed all the records of box office superhit movies, KGF Chapter 1, and Pushpa. Kantara has officially become the second biggest Kannada dubbed movie. 

Kantara's overall total standing is 45.15 crore. It has crossed the lifetime number of KGF: Chapter 1. In 2018, KGF Chapter 1 netted 44.09 crores, and now, after four years, the number has been surpassed by this movie, Kantara. 

But it surprises everyone that this movie has shown outstanding results at a time when the audience has become so demanding about what they want to see. KGF collected relatively better on the day when it was released, even when Bollywood Badshah's movie Zero was in competition with him. Four years back, this number at the box office on the very first day was considered the best number.

Kantara has arrived at a low price at the theatres with zero publicity and no promotions. Meanwhile, this movie arrived with its competitor, Doctor G. At the box office, not only this single movie, Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu, and Ajay Devgn's ThankGod could not even beat this Kannada movie at the box office. 

Watching a successful Kannada movie demonstrates very easily that if the content has power and the representative of the content could match the charter, then it would definitely attract the audience towards itself. There is no need to do big promotions and publicity.

Last year, Pushpa: The Rise was released, which was a Tollywood movie. The first part of the movie made the fans crazy, and Pushpa's craze could be seen all over the internet. Its dialogues have also created a lot of buzz around the world. 

But why is Kantara getting so much ranking in comparison to these hits? The reason behind this mystery is that when Pushpa was released, there was no movie hanging in the theatres for almost 45 days. So it becomes very easy for the distributors and the exhibitors of the movie to promote it as much as they can. 

In spite of this, Kantra has more than 3-4 movies as its opponents in the theatre, and those movies are the movies of Bollywood Indian cinema’s big stars. Despite this challenge, Kantara has shown its best results at the box office.
