Sonali Chakraborty: Veteran Bengali Actress Passed Away Due To Severe Liver Disease

A piece of very disappointing news has come from the glamorous industry that veteran actress Sonali Chakraborty has left everyone in shock after her sudden demise on October 31st. She took her last breath at City Hospital.

She also appeared in the films Dadar Kirti (1980), Har Jeet (2002), and Bandhan (2004). Moreover, the Chief Minister of Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, has expressed condolences to the family and expressed her grief.

Her husband, Shankar Chakraborty, is a prominent personality on the big screen as well as on the small screen. This veteran actress has acted in various Bengali movies, including Rachana Banerjee and Ferdous Ahmed-starrer Har Jeet (2002). This senior actress remained a part of the TV series.

For the past few times, this actress has been admitted to a private hospital regarding some health issues. She has also been cut off from her acting career because of some health issues. She has been found to suffer from chronic liver disease. She has been under treatment for a very long time at a private hospital. For her, this illness is so crucial that it forces her to leave her profession.

Her sudden demise in the hospital is reported by her husband. Shankar Chakraborty took over his social media platform to inform people about his wife’s demise. 

The actress says goodbye to her fans and family at the age of fifty-nine. Along with this, the veteran actress was famous for her Bengali movies. Her powerful acting skills earned her popularity from all corners of Tollywood and Bengali audiences.
