In India, not even a single election is fulfilled without injecting controversy over religion into the country. We all know that elections are coming in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. 

Recently, Arvind Kejriwal appealed in front of the media houses during a press conference with the Central Government and Prime Minister that they should introduce the images of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesh in the currency notes of the country. According to Arvind Kejriwal, if the central government takes this step, then it will help the country’s economy boost at its peak. 

This statement by Arvind Kejriwal was criticised by many people and famous personalities. He has been criticised not only by opponents but also by other Bollywood industry personalities.

Vishal Dadlani is a famous singer who has made his name in the Bollywood industry through his brilliant work. He is also a very well-known face of the party (AAP). He is the proponent of this party. But he still criticised the statement given by Arvind  Kejriwal. 

Not only this, actress Gul Panag wrote, “Whether it’s a means to an end or an end in itself - bringing religion into everything, is a game everyone will play now. And not just politicians! Those who disagree can keep invoking the Constitution, in vain.” 

Television actor Nakul Mehta shared a tweet on his social media handle and wrote, "And they all fall down. EVENTUALLY.” The video that he has shared on Twitter, includes the official video of the MLA Atishi shared her thoughts on this statement she said that “if you hate Arvind Kejriwal then hate him but don’t hate Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesh. Don’t hate their blessings and this country’s prosperity at least”.

Along with this, Gauhar Khan took over her social media platform Twitter and wrote, "Alas a leader who I thought was focused on development has fallen prey to the race of winning in politics. Religion is used only by the weakest kind of politicians. The greed of wanting to win a state election can make you so different. Time to unfollow .”
