DC Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav interacts with College Students willing to join Mini Internship during B2V4

Urges them to acquaint, understand administrative scenario

District Administration Kishtwar has launched an innovative and first of its kind Initiative in the district under the Back to Village programme wherein desirous college students have been invited to pursue mini internship to acquaint, understand and dispense feedback on the administrative scenario.

The orientation is being conducted under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav, under the ongoing fourth edition of Back to Village program.In this regard, Deputy Commissioner today chaired an interactive meeting with the College students desirous to undergo the mini-internship here in the conference Hall DC office complex.

ACD, Atul Dutt Sharma; Assistant Professor, Faisal Mushtaq, besides 45 students of Government Degree College Kishtwar including Boys and Girls participated in the meeting.The students were sensitised about the significance, aims and objectives of the fourth phase of Back to Village programme, besides they were asked to avail the opportunity to have the first hand interaction with administrative officers, visiting officers and PRIs to add to their experiences with regard to the day to day working of Administration and functioning of three tier Panchayati Raj system.

The DC Kishtwar appealed to the students to register in large numbers to know about the basics of administration during their Internship programme.The deployed students were asked to conduct awareness activities regarding Mission Youth Schemes, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, besides conduct plantation drives and add innovative activities in each panchayat in co-ordination with Youth Clubs in their allotted Panchayats to get ample experience which will be helpful in their future life.

Further, a Question-Answer session was also conducted during the interactive meeting wherein a number of queries were raised by students  regarding their role and responsibilities and about the B2V program  and the same were cleared by the chair on the spot.
