In Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, Kamal was born. He started off as a contractor before moving on to become a filmmaker. He received his education at Lal Bahadur Shastri College in Gonda, where he was born.

The case has been lodged against him for hitting his wife and putting her on the death bed intentionally. Yasmine Mishra has filed a complaint against her husband for cheating. It is reported that Yasmine Mishar went out to find her husband at midnight, and when she arrived outside, she found that her husband had been moving in the car with another woman. In her official statement, Kamal Mishra’s wife stated, “Bas Unhone Fataak Se Gaadi Ko Aise Ghumaya Aur Mere Left Wale Idhar (pointing at her left foot) Chadha Diya. Phir Uske Baad Main Seedha Giri..
