Jan Abhiyan : Series of Anemia Mukt Bharat Camps held across district Kishtwar

A series of Anemia Mukt Bharat Camps are being conducted across District Kishtwar wherein children are screened by Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) Teams.The camps were held at Anganwadi Centres of Block Kishtwar, viz at AWC Zargar Mohalla,AWC Khan Mohalla, AWC Marwari, AWC Ladsa A,AWC Ladsa B , AWC Tanta A and other AWCs of Sarthal area.

In the camps the awareness and precautions about health and hygiene was imparted to the children beneficiaries and ladies of the area. Besides, free medicine of Iron folic, albendazole etc were also distributed among the children and Pregnant women.

It is worthwhile to mention that "Anemia Mukt Bharat Camps" at the ward/Panchayat level are scheduled to be held from 16th October to 26th October 2022 for the identification of anemic beneficiaries in Collaboration with ICDS Department.

Staff members of ICDS Anganwadi centers (AWC)  and the public of the areas  thanked the RBSK team for Medical /Anemia Camps in their Area/Centers for  treatment and free medicines provided to them.
