DC Budgam S F Hamid holds Public outreach programme at village Zuhama, Chadoora

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid today conducted a public outreach programme at Zuhama in Block Chadoora.On the occasion, locals and respected from the village Zuhama and adjoining villages apprised the DC about their demands. 

After giving patient hearing to the public, the DC directed the concerned to take up all required works on priority.Speaking on the occasion, DC stressed on speedy completion of balance work of ongoing projects for the public convenience.

He reviewed progress of the works of Jal Shakti, PDD, Health and Education and other sectors and asserted on expediting work and timely execution of all approved works in the area.PDD authorities were directed to ensure improvement works, adequate and scheduled power supply and instructed to make adequate winter related arrangements in advance for smooth supply of electricity to the people.

The DC stressed on coordination between departments and availability of field functionaries on the ground for the general public.Asserting on cleanliness and sanitation, the DC urged the PRIs and locals to ensure complete ban on single use plastic items and proper garbage disposal. 

Besides construction of compost and soakage pits for solid waste and liquid waste management.He emphasized that works related to road development including Zuhama to Patrigam are taken up on priority and improvement works in education including fencing of and ground development at HSS Zuhama and health sectors be also executed in a time bound manner for public convenience.Among others, SDM Chadoora, Tehsildar and other concerned officers and officials were present on the occasion.
