Punjab News: Patiala DSP Died After Shooted At His Home. Know The Full Incident

A mystifying death of a DSP (Deputy Superintendent) from Patiala, Punjab has been making news headlines. The victim who died in the incident was DSP Gagandeep Bhullar. He was sent to a special operation, where he was shot dead at Nabha on Wednesday. 

After the shot, the cop tried to arrive at the hospital as soon as possible but he was declared dead when he was brought to the hospital. It is reported that this incident took place at 7 pm yesterday evening.

After the accident, Patiala’s SSP Deepak Pareek said that “They can not say anything regarding the Death right now that who will be responsible for this accident. Although he probe to reach out the truth”. He said it will take time to reveal that, is it murder or an accident? DSP’s body has been sent to Rajinder hospital for postmortem also.

Gagandeep was posted to Nabha with the Special Operation Group(SOG). The DSP from Patiala district passed away at his residence from gunshot wounds.

SHO, Harry Boaprai said that ‘they are investigating the matter and checking the CCTV footage, the incident place is under probe, in fact, the Revolver which is used to shoot the DSP is also under investigation.

SSP Deepak Pareek said that DSP was at his house when the neighbours heard the noise of a gunshot. One of his relatives has said that he wasn’t married yet. He was alone at home and his mother was gone to Ludhiana. The gunman of DSP informed the relatives about his demise. The bullet was fired from a 32-bore personal revolver.
