Nehru Yuva Kendra Anantnag organized Clean India mega programme at Kokernag. The programme was Inaugurated by Block Development Chairperson,  Kokernag, Miss Parveena.The objective of the programme was to collect single plastic and aware the people regarding the demerits of the plastic use. 

Zonal Physical Education Officer Kokernag, Assistant floriculture officer Kokernag, Assistant Tourist Officer Kokernag were also present in the Programme. More than 300 participants from different departments, Youth club & Mahilla mandal members participated in this programme. Near about 30 quantal wastage was collected and dispose off properly.
