Training Programme on Poshan Tracker App held in Samba

Department of Poshan Samba on Tuesday organised a Training Programme on Poshan Tracker App in the Conference Hall of District Administrative Complex, Nadhini Hills.A detailed presentation, along with Hands-on training on how to use the updated version of Poshan Tracker App was given to the Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers of different Projects of District Samba.

It is pertinent to mention here that Poshan Tracker App is being used by the Department for real time monitoring and tracking of Anganwadi Centers, Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers and beneficiaries.

It offers a complete beneficiary management system for Pregnant Women, Lactating Mothers and Children. Various informative videos and other IEC material were shared with the participants to keep them updated with the technological intervention in the Department of Poshan for better and effective monitoring of AWC in the District.

Child Development Project Officer Samba, Kamla Devi; Child Development Project Officer, Vijaypur,  Shahid Iqbal Muguhal; Child Development Project Officer, Ghagwal Dr. Sushil Khajuria and Child Development Project Officer, Purmandal, Firdosa Akhter along with Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers participated in the Training programme which was held under the direct supervision of District Programme Officer, Poshan, Sh Joginder Singh Jasrotia, JKAS.

Later, a rally consisting of Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers on the theme” Beti Bachao Beti Padhao “was flagged off by the District Programme Officer, Poshan Samba to create awareness regarding various schemes run by the Department of Social Welfare for empowerment of Women and Girl child.

The participants were also directed to carry out various activities as precursor to” Back to Village Programme- IV “as part of Jan Andolan to Jan Bhagidari.
