Gautam Vig, who became the new captain of Bigg Boss 16, has recently been facing a lot of backlash in the house. In the previous episodes, we saw that Tina Datta and Gautam Vig had a fight when Tina used Soundarya to make Sumbul Touqueer envious. Tina persuaded Soundarya to kiss Shalin in front of the girl to see if Sumbul became envious. The situation changed, though, when Gautam learned about it. Gautam has consistently expressed his affection for Soundarya. He probed Soundarya, Shalin Bhanot, and Tina about it.
And now, in the recent episode when Gori Nagori, Sreejita De, MC Stan, and Tina Datta are involved in a fight, other things have been grabbing a lot of attention. In the most recent Bigg Boss 16 episode, Soundarya Sharma and Gautam Vig finally open up about their feelings as he sits with her and discusses the Shalin Bhanot kiss incident. He criticises her, saying that engaging in such behaviour is wrong and that she should stop. She ought not to have done that, according to Gautam, and instead should have initially declined his advances.

But then she shared the latest incident in which he remarked on her undergarments. But she took it as a joke and then told Gautam about the incident. She needs to take a position right now, says Gautam, and state firmly that she doesn't like it. Furthermore, Gauatm says that he does not have trust in Shalin Bhanot and hints that Shalin's intentions may not be right; she must stop him from constantly flirting with her. It clearly shows that Gauatm Vig doesn't trust Shalin and the way he treats Soundarya. He also says, ‘Mereko uski intentions sahi nahi lgti, main muh par bol skta hu uske’.

But Soundarya was not persuaded, so she went to make amends with MC Stan and expressed her opinions on Gautam and Shalin. She informed him that she and Gautam were not yet dating and that he had simply indicated his liking, not his love.
