DC Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yada lays Foundation Stones of Community Sanitary Complex, Solid Waste Management at Chatroo

District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yada today laid foundation stones of a Segregation Shed for Solid Waste Management and a Community Sanitary Complex here at Chatroo in presence of   SDM, Inderjeet Parihar and ACP, Zakir Hussain.

The twin facilities are being constructed under SBM by Rural Development Department Inderwal.After the foundation laying ceremony, the DC interacted with PRIs and local residents of Block Inderwal and highlighted the importance of these assets to make Chatroo area free from plastic and other wastes as well as a source of revenue generation for Panchayats.

He stressed to make proper use and management/upkeep of the Community Sanitary Complex once ready for use by the public.He also provided invoices of IHHL units(Under SBM) amounting Rs12,000 each to five IHHL beneficiaries of Block Inderwal.

BDO Inderwal, Tasleem Javaid Wani and Sarpanch Panchayat Chatroo Lower B Noor Din Bumal besides PRIs of few other Panchayats of Inderwal also remained present during the programme.
