Cheapest EV Tata Tiago Launched By Tata Motors

Tata Motors has launched the new EV Tata Tiago in India. It is the country’s cheapest  EV car. It has been bought in two battery packs and has a range of 315 km. Many features have been given in this vehicle ranging from connected car technology and cruise control. Let us know what special you are going to get in Tata Tiago EV.

The Tata Tiago is given two battery pack options 24 kWh and 19.2 kWh. The battery pack with 19.2 kWh has a range of 250 km or 24kWh offers a battery pack with a range of 315 km.

Tata claims that it can achieve 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.7 seconds. It can be charged with a 15A socket, 3.3 kW AC charger, 7.2 kW AC home charger, or a DC fast charger. Through the 15A socket, you can charge it at your home, office, or any other place.

Price:

If we talk about its price, then it is the country's cheapest EV car, which comes in the range of 8.49 lakhs to 11.79 lakhs.

This car has been offered in five colour options :

The car comes with two driving modes - City and Sport—along with four levels of regional settings in each drive mode. With Level 3 region settings, it offers a one-pedal driving experience.

The car will get a puncture repair kit: 

Tata Tiago Exterior: it has been provided with projector headlamps, contrast roof, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, and electric ORVMs with the auto fold. On the inside, you also get a puncture repair kit with leather seats, automatic climate control, push-button start/stop. Apart from this, you will also be able to enjoy the 8-speaker Harman infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

The Tiago EV comes with many connected features. The connect app will offer 45 connected car features, including remote AC on/off with temperature setting, remote geo-fencing, and car location tracking, smart-watch connectivity, remote vehicle health diagnostics, real-time charge status, dynamic charger locator, and driving style analytics.
