World Tourism day is celebrated on 27 September every year.In the last few years tourism has become very famous among the people of India. Indians are now showing their keen interest in tourism. In the last few years Indians are not only exploring the foreign countries, they are involved in exploring their own countries. In India tourism has made a special place in the hearts of people.

Each year since 1980,World Tourism Day has been held on 27 September.The date marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Statutes of the Organisation in 1970, paving the way for the establishment of UNWTO five years later.

Theme:

September 2022,  is the 42nd celebration of World Tourism Day which will be celebrated around the world. The official program will be held in Bali, Indonesia, with the theme of ‘Rethinking Tourism’. The focus will be on reviewing the growth of the tourism sector, rethinking and redeveloping tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic.

It increases the revenue in the state which helps the state to look more better and services in the state for the tourists and the locals also enhance.
