Baramulla Administration accords warm farewell to outgoing SDM Uri

The District Administration Baramulla today organized an impressive farewell party for the outgoing Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri, Harvinder Singh on his transfer as the Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu.Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar presided over the function, while Additional District Development Commissioner, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf, Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Zahoor Ahmad Raina, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore Parveez Sajad,Joint Director Planning M.Yosuf Rather, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad, SDM Gulmarg Sameer Jaan, SDM Pattan Syed Faheem, Chief Agriculture Officer, Accounts Officer Showkat Ali Khan, Tehsildar Baramulla Khifayat Hussain, Tehsildar HQ Syed Basharat besides District heads of line departments and officials of various departments were also present in the farewell function.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner lauded the contribution of Harvinder Singh, as SDM Uri and acknowledged his public service delivery. She added that officers like him are an inspiration who work enthusiastically day in and day out besides keeping public service and public convenience on priority. She also applauded the outgoing officer for being empathetic and compassionate towards the general public.

All the officers present in the function extended their best wishes to Harvinder Singh for his new assignment.Harvinder Singh thanked the District Administration for organizing such an impressive farewell and also thanked the officers for their active support and cooperation during his tenure. He also expressed his gratitude to the people of Baramulla especially People of Uri for their respect and love.
