Litmus Test of Rohit and Dravid

The T20 World Cup to be held in Australia will be the litmus test of captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid. The biggest reason for this is the performance of Team India in the Asia Cup 2022. Team India, which started the tournament as favourites, performed brilliantly in the group-stage. They reached Super-4 by winning both matches, but they lost to Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Rohit and Dravid faced a lot of criticism after their exit from the tournament. The biggest reason for this was said to be an experiment. It was said that due to too much experimentation, the team failed to make the right combination.

Further, India will play their first match against Pakistan on October 23. The team has not won a single ICC trophy since 2013. Then under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Team India won the ICC Champions Trophy. Hope the new squad brings the trophy home.
