District Administration Ramban  has intensified activities under the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation program (SVEEP) on Special Summary Revision, 2022 to sensitize the people especially youth attaining the qualifying age of 18 years to register themselves as an elector in the Electoral Roll.

Today, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, who is also the District Election Officer, flagged off a van designated as SVEEP Express to create awareness among the masses about Special Summery Revision, 2022 here today.Meanwhile, the Election Department, Ramban on the directions of DEO,  organized a function at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Batote under SVEEP to sensitize the masses in general and newly eligible voters in particular about SSR 2022.

The students presented skits in Dogri, Gojri, and Urdu languages to spread awareness about SSR 2022 and urging the newly eligible voters to register as voters during SSR starting from September 15, 2022.Speaking on the occasion, the School Principal Dev  Raj Bhagat stressed upon the students to create awareness about SSR in their respective areas and register themselves as voters through offline or online mode.

Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Dr. Kasturi Lal; Tehsildar Batote, Vijay Kumar Sharma; ENT, Mohan Lal; EA Ikhlaq Ahmed, PRIs, teachers, Students, and prominent citizens were also present on the occasion.
