DEO Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan briefs Political parties about Special Summary Revision 2022

‘BLOs appointed for each polling station to achieve 100% enrollment of new voters’

District Election Officer Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan today chaired a meeting of representatives of national and regional political parties, in his office chamber and briefed them about ensuing Special Summary Revision 2022.The participants were informed that the special summary revision 2022 is going to start from September 15 and would continue till October 25, 2022. 

The  schedule for holding special camps and constituency wise list of polling stations along with a list of BLOs and their contacts were also shared with the representatives of polling parties.The DEO urged them to extend their cooperation to the District Election Authority to ensure 100% enrollment of new voters. 

The Political parties were urged to appoint the Booth Level Agents to conduct error free exercise of enrollment, addition, deletion and transposition.The representatives of polling parties also submitted their feedback and suggestions. The DEO assured to consider their suggestions and conduct of free, fair and transparent electoral exercise.

Meanwhile, Dy DEO, Amresh Kotwal also briefed the participants about the activity schedule of Special Summary Revision 2022 and scheduled dates of polling station level Special campaign, besides the measures being adopted by the District Election Authority to generate mass awareness through different mediums.

“For error free enrollment of new voters the First schedule of training of BLOs have been completed for cent per cent registration of persons attaining the age of 18 years as on 1st October 2022, besides processing of electoral forms like 6,6B,7 and 8,” the Dy DEO informed the participants. 

He further briefed them about citizens portal  www.nvsp.in for corrections, deletions and transposition and to download Voter Helpline App for Adhaar seeding that will be available for both Android and IOS users.ADC, Dr R K Bharti; ENT Angraz Singh also  attended the meeting.
