From December 2022, across 16 Indian cities, the test drives for the same will start.

In terms of dimensions,it measures 4200 mm in length, 1821 mm in width, and has a class salient wheelbase of 2600 mm. It will offer a maximum boot space of 418 litres.

The Mahindra XUV400 gets a 39.4 kmph lithium-ion battery pack and claims to offer a driving range of 465 kms on single charge as per Indian driving cycle standards. This mahindra XYV400  will take 50 minutes to complete 80% charging with the 50 kW DC fast charger. When charged via a 7.2 kW/ 32A outlet, it will take 6 hours 30 minutes to get from 0 to 100 % charge and the same can be done in 13 hours using a standard 3.3 kW/164 domestic socket.

When it comes to interior design, it was seen that the XUV300 is retained, which is a good thing as it was feature loaded, to begin with. 

As it is launched in next year 2023, january, so its expected price is in between 15-18 lakhs.

Specs & Features

Since Mahindra hasn’t shredded up the rer to fit sub 4m length, the XUV400 looks proportionate and handsome. Boot space is elevated as well, which was the XUV300’s Achilles heel. The XUV400 measures 4.2m, has a 2,600 mm wheelbase and promises a large 368 litres boot space as well, which is a lot better than XUV300.

The battery is IP67 water and dust protected. It has 39.4 kW worth of juice in its floor pan. It makes 310 Nm of torque and the power has not been   by the company. Mahindra XUV400 electric can cover 465 km on a single charge as claimed by MAhindr. 

It allows single pedal technology and gets three drive modes Fun, Fast and Fearless. Depending on acceleration, it can reach a 100 km/h speed in just 8.3 seconds.

At the reveal of Mahindra’s first electric SUV,the President Automotive Division, M&M, Vejay Nakra said that Mahindra has committed to being carbon neutral by 2040.
