DDC reviews progress on transit accommodations, tribal hostels in Rajouri

District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress of work on the transit accommodations and tribal hostels.The meeting was attended by DFO Rajouri, Arshdeep Singh; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; SE PWD( R&B), Nissar Hussain; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; ExEn PWD (R&B), Maqbool Hussain and other concerned officers.

During the meeting, the DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officers regarding the physical and financial progress in the execution of transit accommodations and tribal hostels in the district.The Issues impeding the execution of works were also discussed threadbare in the meeting.

Addressing the officers in the meeting, the DDC asked the concerned to expedite the progress to complete works within the set deadlines. He also asked to maintain quality while executing the works and made it clear that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard.He also stressed on judicious use of funds besides asking for adhering to guidelines of the Tribal Department while executing development works.
