A woman in Bengaluru’s Whitefield area died when she was returning home from work. She lost the balance of her scooter and fell down when she was going back home after work at night.

Reports said she worked as a receptionist in a private firm in Bengaluru. In the heavy flood, she couldn’t balance her scooty. As a result she came into contact with electric wire which resulted in the death of a young girl at the moment. She is recognised as Akhila, who died near Mahira bakery.

These heavy floods always put the lives of citizens in danger, but these are natural disasters and cannot be controlled by humans. But many times when such a disaster happens, it is the responsibility of the administration that they should have to cut the connection of electrocution from the originating place, so that the death rate which has increased can be avoided.

Akhila lost her life during this incident, but the civilians who are living there need to ask the administration for reducing such accidents by their side. Major key reason for these floods in Bengaluru is a lack of Infrastructure.

The development in the area has far outpaced its infrastructure. The most affected areas in Bengaluru are Bellandar, Sarjapur Road, Whitefield, Outer Ring Road, and BEML Layout.
