DDC Chairperson Udhampur reviews functioning of Jal Shakti Department

Chairperson District Development Council Udhampur, Lal Chand today reviewed the functioning of Jal Shakti Department at a meeting of concerned officers. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer, DDC (Addl. Distt. Dev. Commissioner) Udhampur, Chairperson Block Development Councils; DDC Councilors, Superintendent Engineer Jal Shakti, , Executive Engineer Jal Shakti (Civil), Executive Engineer Jal Shakti (Mechanical), Executive Engineer Irrigation & Flood Control, Assistant Executive Engineer Ground Water Division and other officers/officials.

In the meeting, overall functioning of the Jal Shakti Department was reviewed including theimplementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), installation of handpumps and status of works of the Department taken up under Area Development Plan 2022-23 including.The Chairperson DDC Udhampur issued instructions to the officers of the Department to complete the works within stipulated time frame to provide benefits to the public as envisaged in the Plan.
