Weekly Block Divas : DC Samba addresses Public grievances at Badheri Samba

To ensure efficient and effective public services delivery and redress public grievances, Deputy Commissioner Samba today conducted weekly block diwas at Panchayat Ghar Badheri, Samba.Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta listened and addressed the public grievances put across in presence of District Development Council member Ramesh Kumar, other PRI members and locals.

During the block Diwas programme delegation from different Panchayats and individuals appraised the DC regarding different issues including non availability of piped water connections, irregular power supply, maintenance and construction of rural roads, coverage of left out families under social security schemes, and other local issues.

The DC informed that each issue will be taken up and resolved within a stipulated time frame.She gave detailed information about the initiative of Govt about online services of various departments and arrangement of CSC operators on tehsil offices to help the public in applying online. 

She also asked people to avail benefits of Ayushman scheme, Aadhar enrolment, very beneficial insurance schemes like Jeevan Surksha yojna etc.The Deputy Commissioner also made the public aware about Lumpy Skin Disease and distributed free medicines among locals present on the occasion.

The Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Samba informed that special teams have been constituted in the district to provide treatment and vaccine to animals. He also informed that the department of animal Husbandry Samba is providing services round the clock and Public can contact at District Helpline numbers 01923-241004 & 01923-246915 to seek assistance.

Among others present on the occasion included ACR Samba Manu Hansa, PO ICDS, Executive Engineer of PWD, PHE, PDD and other district officers.
