Amidst many viral videos, one particular video caught our attention. It is about a woman named Prakash Devi, from Kamathipura, Mumbai who can be seen being slapped and pushed by a man who is allegedly a leader of Raj Thackeray’s party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). She has been assaulted in public. It has been reported that the incident took place on August 28, 2022. It all happened when a pole was placed in front of the woman's pharmacy without her permission in order to support promotional banners.
While sharing the video, ANI wrote, “A video went viral showing a man hitting & pushing a woman in Kamathipura, Mumbai on Aug 28, allegedly over installing a bamboo stick (for an ad) in front of woman's shop without consent. A non-cognizable offence lodged at Nagpada PS:Mumbai Police”

Meanwhile, the party has said that it does not support the goon and the incident. "Our senior leaders will take action against it. But the video being shown is incomplete," Keshav Mule, MNS, Mumbadevi Ward Chief said.
