Chairman DDC Budgam inaugurates 02 JJM projects

The Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan today inaugurated two JJM projects worth 12.96 crores at Ohangam Beerwah and Chetru Khanshahib.At Ohangam, JJM project has the provision of 0.10 MGD plant and 0.45 lakh gallon (SR) while as at Chetru Khanshahib a mega Water supply scheme is being constructed on 9.5 crores. 

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman said that these projects being undertaken under JJM have the potential to eradicate the long-pending water issues in the area. He said that he was hopeful that execution will be completed in a time bound manner.Senior officers of the Jal Shakti Department including AEE Jal Shakti Sub Division Beerwah, PRI members and other senior citizens were also present.
