He not only became fit but also gained weight to show his bulky character. Recently, Hardeep has shared his experience and a few BTS from his training session. He said that, according to the demands of the script, he had to over-gain around 23 kgs. His weight had increased from 75 kg to 98 kg. He expressed that the initial character demanded the role of a bulgy, lazy, and non-focused character. So, it was difficult for him to gain as he had never done it in life. When he did so, he had to face a lot of challenges, and his leg also got injured. 

After that, he has overcome a lot of hurdles. But the artist’s commitment has made him do what the script demands. Hardeep is one of the commendable actors who undertook vast physical and mental efforts to portray their characters most authentically and accurately possible.
