Vivek Sheel Soni IPS, SSP, SAS Nagar through a press note said that the Mohali police launched a drive against bad elements/miscreants as per the guidelines issued by the Punjab government, under the supervision of Sh. Amandeep Singh Brar, S.P. (Inv.), Sh Gursher Singh Dy.S.P (Inv.), I/C CIA Inspector Shiv Kumar along with his team on date 06.08.2022 from PS Sadar Kharar area on secret information of Gangster Sampat Nehra accomplice Vikas @ Lucky S/o Jang Bhadhar R/o Village Badali, PS Sadar Kharar, SAS Nagar was arrested with illegal weapons. 

During the investigation, accused Vikas confessed that in the month of January 2022 with his partner (1) Gurwinder Singh @ Bunty @ Guri S/o Balwinder Singh (Age 22 years) (2) Ramandeep Singh @ Ramna S/o Jasvir Singh (Age 24 Years) both R/O Vill Badali, PS Singh Bhagwantpura, Distt Rupnagar (3) Gurjant Singh @ Janta S/o Randhir Singh R/o Village Nagal, Distt SAS Nagar  together snatched a Brezza car at gun point at Morinda Kharar road.

Arrested accused :  Vikas @ Lucky S/o Jang Bhadhar R/o Village Badali, PS Sadar   Kharar, SAS Nagar

Recovery : 1. One Pistol 32 bore alongwith 05 alive cartridge

2. One car Brezza No: HR-05-AW-4543 (Snatched from Morinda Kharar Road)
