Taapse Pannu, who has been busy promoting her upcoming film Dobaaraa along with actor Pavail Gulati, has made news for her statement about boycotting her film. She, along with the director, Anurag Kashyap, was seen urging people to boycott their film. But now the actress has again come into the limelight.
On social media, a video of Taapsee being addressed by the paparazzi has surfaced. Photographers can be heard in the footage when she enters the space as she walks saying, “Taapsee ji, rukiye (Taapsee ji, wait)”, “do ghante se ruke hain taapsee ji (we have been waiting for the past two hours)” and “aap ruk kyun nahi rahi hain, taapsee ji (why aren’t you stopping)?”

Taapsee ignored them at first but then stopped and replied. She began by explaining that she had an event to attend but wouldn't be stopping. When the photographers told her they, too, had been waiting for two hours, she retorted, “Yaar daant kyun rahe ho? Isme meri kya galti hai? Mereko kyun sunaa rahe ho? (Why are you yelling at me? What is my fault)?”
She further said, “Mujhe jo bola gaya main kar rahi hoon. (I am doing whatever I have been asked to do). Please talk to me respectfully, I am just doing my work. I have arrived on time at every place I have been asked to. You will talk to me respectfully, I will also speak to you respectfully.” The actor objected when one of the photographers said that he had spoken to her respectfully.
She told him in Hindi, “The camera is on me. If it would have been on you, you would have known how you have talked. It is only you who is always right and the actor is the one who is always wrong.” She then folded her hands and requested that the paparazzi take pictures of her after saying. Taapsee was standing next to her co-star Pavail Gulati during the heated exchange.

However, the sci-fi film ‘Dobaaraa,’ which is directed by Anurag Kashyap, has Ekta Kapoor's support. Pavail Gulati also appears in the movie. In addition to this, Taapsee has been busy filming her upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ with Shah Rukh Khan.
