Actress Upasna Singh and Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, who will be sharing the screen in the movie Bai Ji Kuttange, seem to not share a great relationship anymore. As it came to the notice that Harnaaz Kaur has landed herself into controversy and the person behind her is none other than Upasna Singh.

Yes, you read that right. ‘Bua’ of the Kapil Sharma show has filed a case against Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu for alleged “breach of contract”.

The actress has filed a case in Chandigarh court. 

In the lawsuit, Upasna claims that after Sandhu won Femina Miss India in 2020, they made a deal for her to operate Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP, which would create the Punjabi feature film "Bai Ji Kuttange." She hired Sandhu to be the lead performer.

The parties particularly agreed through this agreement that the artist would make herself available throughout the film's promotional operations by participating virtually as well as in person.

Upasana stated, ‘We have a contract, according to which Harnaaz was supposed to give us 25 days from her schedule to promote the film. Our film was first supposed to release on 27 May, but Harnaaz did not respond to any of our calls, texts and emails, hence I postponed the film’s release to 19 August. We tried hard to contact her even then, we requested her to give us 5 days to promote the film.’

She claimed that they are incurring huge losses financially, due to her behaviour. She said, “Kaur wanted her first film as a producer in Punjabi because Punjabi is her mother tongue. But Harnaaz now thinks that we Punjabis are small people. She thinks she is meant for Bollywood and Hollywood projects.”

The film which has been scheduled to be released on August 19, has a lot of effort from Upasna. Upasna even claimed that she taught and mentored Harnaaz during the shoot. She made her learn everything, not just as a producer but as an actor too and now she has not been picking up her calls, which has not only breached the contract but also hurt the sentiments of the senior actress. And now, due to her actions, she has registered a case against her.
