Noor Chahal & Kayan Selected By Youtube’s Foundry Class 2022. Details Inside

Along with 250 independent artists, Punjabi singer Noor Chahal makes her way to Youtube’s Foundry Class 2022

Noor Chahal, who has recently made it to the headlines for being featured in the film Bajre Da Sitta, has again grabbed the attention. The singer has already made it to Youtube’s Foundry Class 2022. The list of the class was announced a few hours ago, which features Noor Chahal. Along with Noor Chahal, the Indian artist Kayan will also receive funding and support to create and release new music under the programme.

The announcement has been made by Noor via her Instagram. Moreover, besides India, the new class of musicians also includes artists from the US, Korea, Japan, Brazil, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Speaking of Noor, she has been famous for sharing great music videos and entertaining the audience through her social media, and now by being featured in Foundry Music, she has made the community and industry proud.

On being selected for the Foundry Class of 2022, Noor Chahal said, “I see Foundry helping my music reach new people and ensure that my potential does not go undiscovered or unacknowledged. Every independent artist needs a push like that and I am nothing but grateful to YouTube for this opportunity.”

Mumbai-based musician Ambika Nayak, better known as Kayan, expressed Foundry as a ''perfect program'' that can help her grow as an artist.

“Foundry gives independent artists a springboard to success and we’re excited to support such emerging artists and reduce barriers along their journey,” he added.

Apart from these two artists, Foundry programs have also selected 30 independent artists, with alumni including Arlo Parks, Dave, Dua Lipa, Clairo, ENNY, Eladio Carrion, Japanese Breakfast, Kenny Beats, Natanael Cano, Rina Sawayama, ROSALÍA, Saba, Snail Mail, Tems, Tenille Arts, and many more talented musicians.
