Another film has been added to the list of 2002 releases. The new film, titled ‘Kulche Chole’ stars Jannat Zubair Rahmani and Dilraj Grewal. Actress Jannat began her career as a child performer before transitioning to starring roles in numerous daily soap operas. She took a break from television and started making music videos. In the interim, Jannat also became one of the most well-known digital artists. The rising sensation will now make her acting debut in the Punjabi movie Kulche Chole.
And speaking of Dilraj, he is a Punjabi singer, lyricist, and music composer associated with the Punjabi Music Industry. The artist is best known for his songs like Laali, Udeek, Lahore, Godfather, and Malwa. Now, it has been great to see these newbies on a big screen.
Jannat says, “Kulche Chole is a very important film for me, as I’m making my debut as a female lead. When this film was offered to me, it was made clear by the studio that Punjabi language and adapting to Punjabi culture was important. I took this challenge as an inspiration, as I believe that learning never ends. And learning the Punjabi language was a very interesting journey.”
Coming to the credits, the movie has been produced by Sumeet Singh and directed by Simranjit Singh Hundal. Though the film is slated for release in 2022, the exact date has not been revealed. And we hope the makers will not hold it for too long. And like the title of the movie, we hope it will also bring a lot of entertainment and delicious taste for the viewers.
