GoodLuck Jerry Trailer: Janhvi Kapoor Dons Shady Role Of Innocent Bihar Girl Who Smuggle Drugs

Finally, after a lot of suspense and waiting, the makers of GoodLuck Jerry have unveiled the trailer of the upcoming film. The trailer which features Janhvi Kapoor begins with a quote that read, "Nasha Chahe jaisa ho, hota yeh bekaar, sharir todta, bimaari laata, kar deta lachaar (Drugs are injurious to health, it breaks down the body and make a person helpless)". 

The 2-minute, 50-second trailer reveals Janhvi's dramatic metamorphosis from a young woman in a small village to a bold drug smuggler. The plot really captures our attention, and she is not the innocent girl she appears to be. Moreover, the trailer of the black comedy also introduced Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.

In order to provide for her family, she is also seen working as a masseuse. When stage 2 lung cancer is discovered in her mother, played by Mita Vashisht, her life drastically changes. She begins working as a brave drug dealer to raise money for her mother's medical expenses, and while committing crimes, she encounters dangerous scenarios. In the trailer, Deepak Dobriyal is shown as Janhvi's admirer.

There are many things that will unfold in the movie, so to watch the suspense we have to wait for a couple of more days. Coming to the credits, the film has been directed by Sidharth Sengupta and produced by Aanand L Rai, Subaskaran Allirajah, and Mahaveer Jain. GoodLuck Jerry is the Hindi remake of 2018's Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila, starring Nayanthara. The movie is scheduled to release on Disney+Hotstar on July 29. The movie also stars Neeraj Sood, Sahil Mehta, and Saurabh Sachdeva.
