The Punjab Government has resolved to make concerted efforts to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the state. Priorities have been fixed to explore new destination in the state, which could be promoted worldwide as potential tourists’ spots. The department would also chalk out a comprehensive plan to improve the Jail infrastructure to provide better living condition to the jail inmates.” This was disclosed by Mr. Sohan Singh Thandal, Newly inducted Cabinet Minister, while assuming the charge of the office in the presence of galaxy of Political, Social and Religious dignitaries.The prominent among other who were present on this occasion included, Mr. Prem Singh Chandumajra, Sher Singh Ghubaiya, (both Member Parliament), Mr. Sarwan Singh Phillour, Former Cabinet Minister, Sant Balbir Singh Ghunas and Parkash Chand Garg (both Chief Parliamentary Secretaries), Mr. Darshan Singh Shivalik, Smt.
