The adorable Bollywood couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, have recently shared a great piece of news with their fans. The couple, who got married in the middle of April, announced their pregnancy. Ever since the duo announced the pregnancy, fans, family members, and people from the industry have left special messages for the would-be parents.
After the news made headlines, the report claims Alia Bhatt will wrap work on her current projects - Heart Of Stone and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani - by mid-July so that her work commitments are not impacted in any way and also so that she can get a rest. But it seems like the actress disagreed or had some other plans.
On her Instagram stories, Alia Bhatt pointed out that she doesn't need to be "picked up" or get rest, explaining that no schedules were being affected in any way. "Meanwhile in some people's heads, we still live in some patriarchal world...FYI. Nothing has gotten delayed. No one needs to pick anyone up. I am a woman not a parcel. I do not need to rest at all but good to know you'll have a doctor's certification as well. This 2022. Can we please get out of this archaic way of thinking." Alia Bhatt wrote, signing off with these words: "Now if you would excuse me.. My shot is ready."
Alia Bhatt recently announced her pregnancy via a photo of herself and Ranbir Kapoor at the doctor's office. She captioned it “Our baby ….. coming soon.” In the photo, a happy Alia is seen looking at the sonography monitor. Later, she sent an appreciation message on Instagram, thanking everyone for their good wishes.
