Finally, after the spooky-comedy teaser of Phone Bhoot, the release date for the same is out. The Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer was earlier scheduled to be released on July 15 and will now hit the screens in October 2022. Ever since the film was announced, fans of the actors have been excited to see the trio on the big screen.
The supernatural comedy, which has been directed by Gurmmeet Singh of Mirzapur fame and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s banner Excel Entertainment, will hit the screens on 7 October 2022. On Tuesday, the production house shared the film’s release announcement on its official social media page. “#PhoneBhoot ki duniya mein aapka swagat hai. Arriving on 7th Oct, 2022 at cinemas near you,” the tweet read.
Written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, Phone Booth also stars Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chaddha, Nidhi Bisht and Surender Thakur. Moreover, Phone Bhoot has been bankrolled by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment. The makers already shared the teaser for the film, and the video also has the theme track of the film that builds excitement.
Now coming to the lead actors work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster cop drama Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar. The Bang Bang star has a lot of projects lined up. She is set to feature in Farhan Akhtar’s road trip drama Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra. Katrina will also star in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. She is also shooting for Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi.
Now, discussing about Siddhant Chaturvedi, he was last seen in Gehraiyaan. Now, he is set to feature in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav. As for Ishan Khatter, he will next be seen in Pippa.
