The year of Ranbir Kapoor's comeback is starting to take form. The long-awaited first trailer for the fantasy epic Brahmastra was just released by Dharma Productions. And now adding a cherry on the cake, Yash Raj Films released the first teaser for the historical drama Shamshera, which will be Ranbir's first movie since 2018's Sanju.

The poster of the same was leaked online and, after that, the makers unveiled the official poster of Shamshera. The film, which will hit the big screens on 22 July 2022 is all about historical drama. The actor's never-before-seen avatar, who had long hair and a beard and had a fierce appearance, was well-liked by viewers. We now have a better idea of what Ranbir's world as Shamshera looks like thanks to the film's action, drama, and dialogue. You also get a peek into Sanjay Dutt's persona!

The violent opening sequence of the trailer features Dutt as a scary police officer abusing victims. The action then shifts to a sizable gang of black-clad dacoits led by a man who appears to be Ranbir. After that, we see him with long hair and a dark, rugged appearance while hearing his voice-over introducing his role.

While Karan Malhotra’s upcoming film has the lead actors as Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt. Shamshera, a movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, is made by Yash Raj Films. According to reports, it takes place in the made-up city of Kaza, where a brutal authoritarian commander named Shudh Singh imprisons, enslaves, and tortures a warrior tribe. For the first time in his career, Ranbir Kapoor plays a larger-than-life, archetypal Hindi film hero in Shamshera.
