Finally, the trailer of Taapsee Pannu’s one of the most anticipated films, Shabaash Mithu, is out. The inspiring story of renowned cricketer Mithali Raj will be brought to life by Taapsee Pannu. The trailer is all about Mithali, who has a tan, strong batting abilities, and determination written on her face. The film, directed by Srijit Mukherji, stars Taapsee Pannu as Mithali, a cricketer who changed the game in India and worldwide.

Moreover, the trailer of Shabaash Mithu has just been revealed. Sourav Ganguly, a  former Indian cricketer, and current BCCI President, unveiled the trailer. Mithali's path from wishing to be a cricketer to altering the face of women's cricket in India is depicted in the trailer.

The trailer begins with a young Mithali who is interested in the sport but does not have the opportunity to participate. Luckily for her, her coach (Vijay Raaz) recognises her potential and takes her under his wing. She goes on to earn a spot in the national and international squads, despite a variety of obstacles. She is subsequently named captain of the Women's Indian Cricket Team, and she quickly sets out on a journey to give the team the recognition it deserves.

While promoting the film, Taapsee Pannu revealed that “there are cricketers who have records under their name. There are cricketers who have a tremendous fan following. There are cricketers who inspire you and make you believe that if they can so can you! And then there’s Mithali who did all of this in her classic graceful style and also changed the game of cricket where the presence of women is concerned.”

Meanwhile, speaking of Taapsee Pannu, she is a brilliant actress and has done many commendable films like Pink, Badla, Naam Shabana, Baby, Saand Ki Ankh, and many more. When it comes to delivering powerhouse performances, Taapsee Pannu never fails to deliver. Ever since her onscreen debut, the actor has repeatedly chosen roles that are challenging and largely unconventional. Now, with this sports drama, we expect the same thing as before. The film, Shabaash Mithu, is scheduled for release on July 15, 2022.
