The greatest mark of a father is how he treats his children when no one is looking — Dan Pearce
As fathers are the back-bone of family & to a child father is his protection, survival & future means his life always revolves around this figure which not only begets him, nurtures him, & settles him in accordance with different aspects of life. Father's day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June & it’s falling on the 19th of this month.
A father brings a sense of physical & emotional security. Father is such a figure in everyone's life who himself bears all the troubles and takes care of his children and family while keeping them safe. He also acts as our life saver mentor, guide, friend and cheerleader. Fathers are truly special & are pillars of strength. According to Michael Bublé - Fatherhood is the greatest thing that could ever happen. You can’t explain it until it happens; it’s like telling somebody what water feels like before they’ve ever swam in it.

Why are fathers under appreciated? Why is fathers’ day not getting same buzz as mothers’ day? Are fathers really useless?

According to Reed Markham, the thrill of being a great father is not seeing your children go on to become successful adults. The thrill of a great father is the journey, experiencing your child’s successes along the pathway to their greatness.
Look, if King Æthelstan can travel all the way from Wessex to Northumbria in June 934 to present a book to St Cuthbert, who'd already been dead for 247 years, you can pop to your local bookshop and get your dad a copy of The Anglo-Saxons for #FathersDay. pic.twitter.com/sfX78tY4n4
