FDP on Challenges in tackling human diseases organised by CGC Landran

A five day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Challenges in tackling human diseases – A Novel Approach’, was inaugurated by Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, CGC Landran. The inaugural session of the FDP was attended by 50-plus faculty members from departments of Pharmacy and Biotechnology.

The objective of the programme is to empower the participating faculty members’ teaching capabilities by enlightening them with the latest advances being made in therapeutic strategies for treating human diseases. 

It also seeks to enhance their understanding of the pathogenesis/pathophysiology of infectious diseases metabolic disorders along with their treatment modalities.The FDP would entail expert talk sessions conducted by invited keynote speakers and industry experts. 

These include Dr. Ipsita Roy, NIPER Mohali,  Dr. Manoj Kumar,  Senior Principal Scientist, Institute of Microbial Technology (CSIR) Unit, Chandigarh, Dr. Dharam Vir, ENT specialist, PIMER, Chandigarh, Dr. Krishna Kumar, professor of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, College of Pharmacy, Howard University, Washington DC, Dr Amritinderpal Kaur, Grecian Hospital, Mr. Karun Kataria, Manager Quality Assurance, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Chandigarh among others.
