The teaser of one of the most anticipated films, Brahmastra is out. And with the teaser, the makers have also dropped the release date of its trailer. The 30-second clip shows the lead characters of Brahmastra which include, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in their respective characters. All the characters appear to be placed in a surreal-looking world with supernatural elements. Mouni appears to be playing the villain here. This is the first time we are meeting Amitabh, Nagarjuna, and Mouni’s characters.

Alia shared the teaser on Instagram and wrote, “In just 100 days, BRAHMĀSTRA: Part One will be all yours.” The VFX in the teaser shows and gives the reason why makers were postponing its release date. And we must say, the editing team did a commendable john at their end. The teaser teases mythological elements such as a magical sword, a trident (Trishul), fireballs, and powerful bow and arrows.

The teaser teased each character’s superhero powers, all leading up to a connection with ‘Shiva’. The teaser ended with the announcement that Brahmastra Part One: Shiva trailer will release on June 15.The Ayan Mukerji-directed film is reported to be the first in a trilogy, with the first instalment has been in the works for nearly seven years. Ranbir and Alia met while preparing to be a part of this film, and they married in April 2022.

In an earlier statement about the film, Ayan had said, “It’s a modern-day film set in India as it exists today. But the reason it’s called Brahmastra is that the energies, wisdom, and powers in the film come from ancient India. That’s all I would say. There are some costumes, maybe not the way you’d expect them to be.” The first part of the trilogy will be released in theatres on 9 September in five Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
