AP Dhillon Reveals The Reality Of Artists After Sidhu Moosewala’s Death. Read Inside

Prominent Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala has gunned down his Mahindra Thar in Mansa District Punjab. The demise of the singer has left everyone in shock and fans and his friends from the industry are pouring their grief through social media. One among those is Brown Munde fame AP Dhillon. Like every other celeb, he took to his story to show his sorrow for the singer’s death but apart from that he also shared a statement about what Punjabi artists have to deal with on a day-to-day basis.

The story reads, “Most people will never know the extent of what you have to deal with as a Punjabi artist behind the scenes on a daily basis. With constant judgement, hate-filled comments, threats, and negative energy directed towards people like us, who are just doing what we love,” he wrote. In his tribute to Moosewala, the ‘Insane’ star AP Dhillon, also said, “I always admired how Sidhu was able to rise above it all. He made it look easy and stayed true to himself. Today I am praying for his family and our community. We need to do better.”

It has been saddened that artists who entertain us at their best have to face a lot and like Sidhu, they have to fight with their life. Meanwhile, there has been an update on Moosewala’s case, senior superintendent of police Gaurav Toora told the media, “Preliminary investigation shows it to be an inter-gang rivalry.” Moosewala was among the 424 VIPs who lost their security cover as part of the Bhagwant Mann government’s exercise to crack down on VIP culture. 

For the uninitiated, news portals obtained CCTV footage of Punjabi musician and politician Sidhu Moosewala being shot dead by gunmen in Mansa. Attackers opened fire on Sidhu Moosewala's Thar near Jawaharke village in the video. The singer's That was followed by two cars, a white Bolero, and a dark Grey Scorpio, in the footage, and immediately after they took a corner, loud firing could be heard in the background. Following the murder of the 28-year-old, Goldy Brar, a Canadian criminal, claimed responsibility, and two gangsters were detained in Moga in connection with the case. Meanwhile, amid political pressure, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has announced a judicial probe into the incident.
